Lime Rock Weekend!
I won’t be there, sadly. But there’s lots of good stuff going on at Lime Rock Park this weekend. The Pirelli Word Challenge and American Le Mans Northeast Grand Prix both take place July 4-6, and there are apparently going to be some crazy-ass Lamborghinis out there as well for Round One of the inaugural North America Lamborghini Blancpain SuperTrofeo. Got all that? I’ll be rooting for Cadillac and Audi in the Pirelli WC – I got to see them live at Circuit of the Americas in Austin, and it was incredible – but don’t know enough about ALMS to have an educated opinion at this point. I plan to attend all of these events at Lime Rock next year, but in the meantime you can follow the ALMS GP on ESPN2 on Saturday. Happy weekend!

Was at the ALMS race last week-end and it was great to see the ALMS cars for the last time at Lime Rock Park. The Lamborghini and World Challenge support races were great. Will post some photos on my motorsport photography website shortly. Looking forward to the Ferrari Challenge in a couple of weeks. Lime Rock Park is one of the best tracks to watch and photograph the race cars due to its great access and vantage points. Hopefully next years United SportscarRracing series will go well, but will miss the LMP1s

Won’t be at Austin for the F1, but will be there for the ALMS/WEC
