Maserati Trofeo, Day One
Beautiful weather, beautiful cars, beautiful people. I’m still wondering how I got so lucky…
I am currently sitting on a patio, high in the hills over Walnut Creek, California, enjoying the cool breeze and watching deer graze. You’ll get the full story soon, once I’m done living it. In the meantime, here’s a glimpse at Day One of the Maserati Trofeo at Sonoma Raceway.
The guys at Maserati of Walnut Creek are awesome. That’s a fact.
“My” car, the 2014 Quattroporte. I liked it. A lot.
The new Ghibli. Coming this fall! This car is going to change the game for Maserati.
Oh yeah, there was some racing.
Some Ferrari guys came, too. They parked their cars so patriotically – ‘Merica!
Viva Italia!
Looks like gorgeous day for driving. And racing. And hanging out with like-minded folks. Now, about that Ghibli … What is the nature of this game-changing? Style? Performance? Power? Handling? Does it come with its own theme song? (I note that Ghibli is also the name of a Japanese anime studio, and wonder if there is a tie-in.)
The Ghibli will be a game-changer on price point and (hopefully) volume. I will explain in an upcoming post!
