Consider This My 2014 IndyCar RSVP
The 2013 season may not end until this weekend (I’m having a watch party), but the 2014 IndyCar schedule is now live, and I like it!
There are two Texas races (well, three; Houston is still a double-header): Texas Motor Speedway (Dallas) and Reliant Park (Houston). Both are in June. Both will be attended by me (take note, family, and plan vacations accordingly). I also reeeeeallllly want to go to the Indianapolis 500 and the Detroit Grand Prix. But I shall be patient. There will be other years…
Oh, and while we’re at it: IndyCar, would you PUH-LEEZ come to Circuit of the Americas? We have an amazing track and even more amazing fans, if I do say so myself.
Check out the full 2014 schedule here. And don’t forget the final race of the season is this Saturday! NBC Sports Network is broadcasting live from 8 p.m. Eastern. You definitely don’t want to miss this race – the championship (which is based on points) won’t be decided until then! Right now, Scott Dixon leads Helio Castroneves by 25 points (Castroneves led by 49 points going into the Houston double-header; a disastrous weekend there leaves him struggling to be the Comeback Kid). It’ll be high-speed drama until the checkered flag! I can’t wait!

Texas Motor Speedway is June 7. But, really, I jest. Would rather be with you guys. 😉
