Esotico Italiano – the Lamborghinis
Well, tomorrow was worth it! The Esotico Italiano show at the Oasis brought together more Lamborghinis (and Ferraris…and a DeTomaso!) than I have ever seen in one place before. And more orange. It was heavenly. Almost as fun as looking at and photographing the cars myself was watching little boys run breathlessly from one car to the next, informing their parents of the make and model of each one. I felt that eight-year-old excitement myself. 🙂
I took over 200 photos, and hardly a one sucks, so we may need to break this up into a couple of posts. I’ll save the classic Lambos – of which there were many – for tomorrow.
Without further ado, my afternoon…
Gallardo
Aventador – a bad mother…
Geometry on wheels…love this car.
Yes, license plate. You are correct.
Hello, engine cover.
Hello, engine.
Nudder one.
That would be an engine cover. With an integrated spoiler. 🙂
The Superleggera is a special edition Gallardo – more bad-ass-eder than usual.
Murcie me, Murcielago.
That green makes me giddy with happiness. It looks good on a Lotus Evora, too.
Because, green Murcielago. Seriously.
You could blow a squirrel out that exhaust pipe.
White’s okay, but orange, yellow and lime green are really the best, in my humble opinion.
Hadn’t seen this color on a Lambo before. It’s very nice, but just not an appropriate Popsicle color, a Lambo requirement.
Look how low that thing is.
Here I tried to get all fancy. If you look closely through the louvers of the engine cover, you can see the taillights of the Aventador parked behind:
See? It almost worked.
Oh, and then there was THIS. My life is complete now.
Ladies and gentlemen, the Batventador.
Seriously.
It even came with its own cones.
People of Gotham, there are many more photos, but I am exhausted. How about I show you the Ferraris tomorrow, then we can look at the classics the next day?
Back soon with more!
I wonder if that Batmobile has a motorcycle inside? Does Lamborghini make motorcycles, too?
