The special pink Susan G. Komen helmet Pippa Mann wore in the Indy 500 is being auctioned on eBay, with 100% of the proceeds to benefit Susan G. Komen Central Indiana. This is the actual race-worn helmet, and has been autographed by Mann. I would LOVE to buy this helmet myself, but it’s a leeeeetle out of my price range. Anyone wondering what to get me for Christmas, consider this to be Exhibit A.

Now that I plan to host an Indy 500 Watch Party every year, it would be particularly nice to have Pippa’s pink helmet as a fabulous table decoration. And to wear it during my next racing class… 😉

But enough about me – at the end of the day, what matters is that Pippa’s helmet sells at an awesome price that will bring lots of good things to Komen of Central Indiana. Because we want to see Pippa partner with Komen next year, too! For a full reason, right, Pippa?
